Post-CABG

Post-CABG refers to the care and management of patients after Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) to promote recovery, restore heart function, and prevent future cardiovascular events.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

Post-CABG (Open Heart Surgery) Graft Lesions

Post-CABG graft lesions occur when there is narrowing or blockage in the bypass grafts used during coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. These grafts are used to restore blood flow to the heart muscle by bypassing blocked coronary arteries.
Over time, grafts may develop narrowing due to plaque buildup, blood clots, or degeneration of the graft vessel. This can reduce blood flow to the heart and may lead to chest pain, shortness of breath, or recurrent heart-related symptoms.
Early diagnosis and treatment of graft lesions are important to maintain proper blood supply to the heart and reduce the risk of further cardiac complications.
